II. Motions of Authorization
a. Main Motion #1:
The Board of Finance moves that the Treasurer be permitted to transfer funds from the
Operating Reserve to cover an anticipated shortfall in the 2015 budget.
As this motion comes from a committee, no second is required. A simple majority is needed for
adoption.
III. Motions pertaining to Uses of Off-budget Funds needing congregational approval
a. Main Motion #2:
The Board of Properties moves that $1,800 from the Major Projects Reserve Fund be allocated
for reimbursement to the 2015 operating budget for an emergency tree removal.
The Board of Finance approved this request at its November 30
th
meeting. As this motion comes from
a committee, no second is required. A simple majority is needed for adoption.
b. Main Motion #3:
The Board of Properties moves that $18,000 from the Major Projects Reserve Fund be allocated
for steeple repainting (on its 6 year cycle).

c. Main Motion #4:
The Board of Properties moves that $5,000 from the Major Projects Reserve Fund be allocated
for insulating of the Meeting House ceiling.

d. Main Motion #5:
The Board of Properties moves that $12,000 from the Geraldine Waring Fund be allocated for
replacement of carpet in the Meeting House (exclusive of the chancel).

The Board of Finance moves the adoption of the 2016 Operating Budget as proposed.
